In order to be a basketball referee, you must pass an initial test given by the PIAA on the first Monday in February, June and October. You can contact the PIAA through their web site www.piaa.org or by phone 800-382-1392 (PA only) or 717-697-0374. If you are interested in becoming an IAABO official, please contact one of the chapter officers for information. The IAABO test is taken the first Monday after Thanksgiving each year.
